WATERVILLE, Maine - Reigning Women's Tennis NAC Champions Husson University (2-1) defeated Thomas College (2-2) for the second time in three days, this time 8-1. The Terriers dropped their match on Thursday by a score of 9-0. 

The Eagles started out strong by winning all three double points for the second time. Terrier juniors Lauren Smith (Waterville, Maine) and Kiara Goggin (West Gardiner, Maine) lost #1 doubles in a tiebreaker to Hannah Mailen and Natalie Tilton 9-8 (3). 

Goggin brought the momentum from doubles in to singles defeating Natalie Tilton 6-4 6-2 at #1 singles. Goggin had lost a close match to Mailen at #1 singles on Thursday. Smith also played a great match against Mailen losing 7-6 6-3. Magan Williams (Oakland, Maine) also played a great match at #3 singles to Husson's Emily Doten.
