Box Score BANGOR, Maine – The Thomas College women's lacrosse team fell to Husson University 8-6 on Saturday afternoon in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) game.
Thomas got out to the early lead, with goals by
Nikki Bradstreet (Topsham, Maine),
Autumn Howe (Merrimack, N.H.) and
Mackenzie Driscoll (North Andover, Mass.) giving the Terriers a 3-0 lead at the 10:13 mark of the first. The Terriers held Husson scoreless through the remainder of the period to take a 3-0 lead into the break.
Husson scored the first two goals of the second to cut the lead to 3-2, but Bradstreet answered with her second to make it 4-2. The Eagles scored another two to tie it 4-4 with 13:11 remaining. Thomas went back up with a goal by Driscoll, but Husson scored four unanswered over the next six minutes to take the lead for good. Driscoll added one more at the end of the period to make it an 8-6 final.
Arianna Cannistraro (Waltham, Mass.) took the loss in net for Thomas, allowing five goals on eight shots in 53:08 minutes of work.
Elizabeth Gotay (Guilderland, N.Y.) came in for the final 6:52, allowing three goals on four shots.

Thomas will conclude their regular season on Saturday, April 17 when they visit UMaine-Farmington for a NAC game at 1:00 PM.
