AUGUSTA, Maine - Thomas Men's Basketball cruised past the University of Maine at Augusta Wednesday night, defeating the Moose 90-58.
The Terriers controlled the game from the start, moving the ball well, and playing one of their best games of the season. They went on an 8-2 run to open the game but UMA scored eight straight points to take an early lead early but it would not last.
Half way through the first half Thomas went on another run, this time 13-5 and they never looked back. The Terriers took a comfortable 47-30 lead into the locker at half time.
Thomas continued to control the game in the second half outscoring the Moose 43-28, enroute to their 90-58 victory at the Augusta Civic Center.
Parker Desjardins (Jackman, Maine) led the team with 22 points while both
Sawyer Deprey (Caribou, Maine) and
Lokiron Anda (Portland, Maine) both got a double-double.
The Terriers are off until January 8th when they will travel to New York to play SUNY-Cobleskill at 1 p.m.
