WATERVILLE, MAINE – The Thomas College Men's Ice Hockey team suffered a one goal loss to crosstown rivel Colby College at the Harold Alfond Ice Arena on Wednesday night, 2-1.
The first period consisted of action from end to end, but neither team was able to light the lamp and the score was tied at 0-0 at the first intermission.
The Mules jumped to 2-0 lead in the first period. Kegan Rodrigue (Auburn, Maine) put the Terriers on the scoreboard shortly after Colby's second goal to cut the lead back to one
The Terriers started the third period strong, but their momentum was derailed by a series of penalties. The Mules were able to control the game and hold their lead throughout the period to earn the win on their home ice, 2-1.
The Terriers will next travel to Lewiston, Maine to face off against the Bates College Bobcats at the Lewiston Colisee on Sunday, December 5.
