WATERVILLE, Maine - The Thomas Women's Basketball (1-4) team earned an important non-conference victory over The University of Maine at Fort Kent (0-6), by a score of 62-58.

The first quarter was back and forth from the start however the Terriers jumped to an early lead over the Bengals, 15-11. Thomas was able to hit three out of four three pointers in the first quarter, to help solidify their lead.Â

Thomas came out strong offensively in the second quarter scoring 19 points and was able to extend their lead to ten points at half time, 43-24. It was all Thomas in the third quarter, scoring 15 points to go ahead 52-37 but UMaine at Fort Kent was not going quietly.Â

The Bengals saved their best basketball for the fourth quarter outshooting the Terriers 21-10. They went on a 10-2 run cutting the lead to single digits but a key late three pointer by senior captain
Kaylee Ravagli (Lowell, Mass.)Â sealed the victory for Thomas.Â

Ravagli led Thomas with a double-double, 23 points and 13 rebounds. SophomoreÂ
Samantha Fortin (New Gloucester, Maine) had 11 points and nine rebounds while SophomoreÂ
Chantel Ouellette (Auburn, Maine) had 11 points and three rebounds. Jayonah Chaboya led UMaine at Fort Kent with 19 points and seven rebounds.Â

The Terriers will travel next to Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Wednesday, December 1. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 pm.
