LEWISTON, Maine – Thomas Women's Basketball (0-3) was defeated by Bates College (2-0) on Friday evening by a score of 86-37. The game was apart of the Bobcat Classic Tip-Off, hosted by Bates. 

The Terriers played their best ball in the third quarter, scoring 16 points. Senior captain Kaylee Ravagli (Lowell, Mass.) scored a team high 15 points while sophomore Brianne Benecke (Oakland, Maine) added seven rebounds. Bates was led by Brianna Gadaleta who scored 14 points while Meghan Graff and Mia Roy added 13 and 12 points respectfully. 

The Terriers will face the New England College Pilgrims on Saturday at 3 p.m., in their second and final game in the Bobcat Classic Tip-Off. The Pilgrims beat the Terriers already this season 52-38.
