Men's Lax Closes Regular Season with a Loss to Husson

Bangor, Maine – The Thomas College men's lacrosse team struggled to gain any offensive power as they fell 17-1, to the Eagles of Husson in their final North Atlantic Conference regular season matchup of the year Wednesday night.  The Eagles completely dominated the game as they out-shot the Terriers 48-to-13 and wining the ground ball war picking up 50 ground balls to the Terriers 11.

With the loss the Terriers close out the regular season with a record of 4-10 (3-5 NAC) while the Eagles wrap up the regular season 10-7 (6-2 NAC).

The Terriers lone goal came in the first quarter from stick of sophomore midfielder Gunnar Shelton. Husson was led by attackman Mitch Heaps you netted five goals in the win.

Thomas goalkeeper Jesse Morkeski shoulders the loss with a 10 saver performance between the pipes.

The (7) Terriers travel to (2) Castleton State on Friday at 7:00 p.m. for the NAC Men's Lacrosse Quarter Finals.
