NEC Rolls Past Terriers

Henniker, N.H. – The Thomas College men's lacrosse team fell 28-1 to the Pilgrims of New England College in a North Atlantic Conference match up. The Terriers lone goal was scored by freshman Matt Davis off of an assist from Gunnar Shelton during a man up advantage.

With the loss the Terriers slip to 3-8 (2-3 NAC) on the season while, the Pilgrims improve to 6-6 (5-0 NAC).

The Pilgrims got the scoring going early with a goal just 18 seconds into the match. They went on to add four more before Davis answered making it a 5-1 game. NEC was quick to respond and continued their scoring barrage till games end.

Thomas goalkeeper Jesse Morkeski shoulders the loss despites stopping an impressive 27 shots.

The Terriers have a showdown in Farmington with rival UMF on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
