Tara Kelley

Tara Kelley was named the Head Women's Volleyball Coach in December of 2023. She now enters her second year in the role.

Kelley, originally from Taft, California played at Taft College as the DS/Setter before going to play at the University of Maine at Fort-Kent where she was mainly a receiver. After her collegiate career, she then went back to Taft, becoming an assistant coach for three seasons. She then became an assistant coach at Division II school Southeastern Oklahoma State University for the 2020-21 season.

Most recently Kelley has been back at UMFK for the past three seasons, helping produce a USCAA National Championship, 9 All-Americans, 18 All-Academics, a USCAA Player of the Year, a USCAA Student-Athlete of the Year, and earned a Coach of the Year award.

Kelley graduated from the University of Maine Fort Kent with a degree in Public Safety Administration and a minor in Business, and received her master's degree in Athletic Administration and Coaching from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
