Thomas College

Katie returns to Thomas College after serving as a high school head coach and most recently a college assistant. She Spent the 2019-2021 season as head varsity girls coach at Monmouth Academy and then joined the University of Maine at Augusta staff as an assistant coach with the women’s team  for the 2021-22 season.  

Katie has her bachelor's in marketing management and her master’s in business administration from Thomas College. While at Thomas, she was a major contributor to the Women’s Basketball program, where she scored over 1,000 points and was a member of the Women’s Tennis team. 

“I’m delighted to be returning to Thomas College as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. 

My passion for the school and gratitude for the women’s basketball program drives me to return and unlock the potential. I believe in Coach Coleman’s strategies and coaching philosophies and am eager to practice them on the court. I’m enthusiastic about this opportunity and thrilled to build my coaching career in Larry Mahaney Gymnasium.” 

In addition to her coaching career, Katie works in real estate alongside her Mother at Mcallister Real estate. She also serves as a Planning Board Member for the City of Augusta and Katie is a State of Maine Notary and a IAABO certified basketball referee.
