Thomas College

Amy begins her college career at Thomas with high expectations as she is expected to be an immediate contributor on both ends of the floor.  Amy is an extremely gifted athlete who handles all aspects of the game well.  Do not be surprised to see Amy play all 5 positions over the course of the season.  Before coming to Waterville, Amy was a standout athlete at Mt. View High School where she excelled in field hockey and basketball.  Amy was 4 year starter in basketball where she was an All-KVAC selection, and she was also named to the KVAC All-Academic team.  Amy also plays for the Terrier field hockey program.

Coach's Comment: "I am very excited to Amy join our program.  She is arguably one of the best athletes to ever wear a Thomas' uniform, and is a versatile player that coaches love to have.  She is in tremendous physical condition and can run forever, which will allow us to press for 40 minutes.  She has adapted quickly to the college game, and it will not take long before she is a household name among NAC opponents.  She works very hard at her game, and I am certain she is going to be key contributor for 4 seasons.”

Amy is the daughter of Donald and Diane Miles, and is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice.
