Andrea Thebarge will be going into her 18th season at Thomas after being named the Head Field Hockey Coach prior to the 2008 season.

Thebarge, a native of Skowhegan, Maine graduated from Northeastern University in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics. While at Northeastern, was a four year starter and participated in four NCAA Division I tournaments, making it to the Final Four championship in both 1995 and 1996.

Prior to Thomas, Thebarge served as Assistant Field Hockey Coach at the University of Maine from 2002-2005, and was the Interim Head Coach in 2006. From 2000-2002 was the Head Field Hockey, Basketball and Softball Coach at Buckingham Browne and Nichols, a private school in Cambridge, Mass. Thebarge has been actively involved in the United States Field Hockey Association Futures program both as a player and coach and was the Regional Coaching Director of Massachusetts from 2001-2003. She has been head coaches of club programs in the state, including the Mid Maine Majestix field hockey club in Waterville, Maine as the Maine Rapids.

In December of 2009, Thebarge was inducted into the Maine Field Hockey Association's Hall of Fame, while being inducted to the Skowhegan Field Hockey Hall of Fame in 2010.

Thebarge also serves as the Assistant Athletic Director/Compliance Coordinator at Thomas and an adjunct professor of mathematics. From 2008-10 served as the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach.
