How it Happened:
- The Terriers had the first opportunity of the game, but a shot from David Ivarsson went just wide of the goal.
- Soon after the Jumbos struck first, scoring in the ninth minute to take a 1-0 lead.
- Just two minutes later the Jumbos found their second of the game, making it 2-0.
- The Terriers responded well to the goals, generating several shots and even forcing a save thanks to Jeremiah Gomez.
- For the remainder of the half the Terrier defense held strong, not allowing any goals thanks in part to goalkeeper Jamie Fischer.
- At halftime the reigning national champions only found themselves up 2-0.
- In the 50th minute a shot on goal from Adam Elkott forced another good save from the Jumbo goalkeeper.

- In the 63rd minute the Jumbos were awarded a penalty kick, and converted to make it 4-0.
- Despite some good moments from the Terriers, the Jumbos added another goal, making the final score 5-0.
