Bangor, ME - Baseball bowed out of the 2026 North Atlantic Conference Championship Series against #1 seeded Husson University on Saturday, May 9th, 2026. The Terriers conclude their season at 20 wins, and this season will sit in the top four in terms of wins/losses all-time for the Terriers. The final score was 3-4 in a tightly contested matchup.

How it Happened:
  • The Eagles started the day well, scoring two runs in the top of the first inning to give them an early lead.
  • Despite a solid pitching performance from Aidan McMahon and strong fielding from the Terriers, the Eagles added a run in the third inning to make it 0-3.
  • With two straight shutout innings from McMahon to follow, the Terrier offense capitalized in the sixth.
  • An RBI walk from Gus Hollen brought home DJ Cagnina, making it 1-3.
  • A clutch single from Jeremy Spencer scored both Gavin Clark and Ajay Rychik, tying things up at 3-3.
  • However, in the bottom of the inning the Eagles were able to capitalize from a fielder's choice, bringing home a run to make it 3-4.
  • Soon after Ian Libby made an appearance on the mound for the Terriers, shutting out the Eagles for the final two innings.
  • Despite Libby's pitching, the Terriers were unable to score any more runs, ending the season with a 3-4 loss.
  • Despite the loss, the Terriers had another strong season, and graduating seniors Javier Diaz, Roy Clayton, Tyler Cantey, Ankit Shah, Patrick Temby, and DJ Cagnina will be greatly missed heading into next season.
