Waterville, ME - Men's Lacrosse hosted Husson University in a North Atlantic Conference match-up on Tuesday, April 14th, but ultimately fell to the Eagles by a final score of 11-17. Despite the loss,
Owen Lyons and
Jack Morrill lead the Terriers attack with a combined nine points and fourteen ground balls, with goalkeeper
Mike Picard adding 17 saves on 34 shots faced.

How it Happened:
- The Eagles claimed the momentum in the opening minutes of the 1st, scoring back-to-back goals to put the Terriers down 0-2 early on.
- Charlie Foster-Major found a response for the Terriers offense in the ensuing minutes with a nice run and finish on net to cut the Eagles lead to one goal.
- Husson extended its lead midway through the 1st with three unanswered goals, extending the Terriers deficit to four goals.
- But the Terriers found a response late in the 1st, closing the quarter with consecutive goals from Morrill and Connor Hamilton to cut the deficit to just two heading into the 2nd quarter.
- The Terriers flipped the momentum of the game in the early minutes of the 2nd quarter, scoring three unanswered goals to reclaim the lead thanks to Morrill (assisted by O. Lyons), Wyatt Lyons, and O. Lyons.
- However, a late Eagles goal in the final minutes of the 2nd quarter sent both teams into halftime tied at 6–6.
- Husson continued to pressure the Terriers defense in the opening minutes of the 3rd, scoring two quick goals to reclaim a two goal lead.
- The Terriers continued to battle for momentum in the following minutes, with Nicholas Pike (assisted by O. Lyons) and Hamilton combining for three goals to put the Terriers ahead 9–8 with minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter.
- But another late strike from the Eagles to close out the 3rd quarter sent both teams into the final fifteen minutes of play knotted up at 9-9.
- A nice pass from Morrill found the stick of O.Lyons in the opening seconds of the 4th quarter for a quick goal, giving the Terriers a one goal lead once again.
- However, a large scoring run from the Eagles in the following minutes put the Terriers behind 16-10 with just under seven minutes remaining in regulation.
- O. Lyons looked to give the Terriers offense some life midway through the 4th quarter with his 3rd goal of the game, but another late goal from the Eagles ultimately put the game out of reach, as the Eagles went on to hand the Terriers an 11-17 North Atlantic Conference loss at home.
