Waterville, ME - Women's Lacrosse earned it's 4th win of the regular season on Tuesday, April 4th, defeating the Gordon College Fighting Scots at home by a final score of 18-10. Junior

Katarina Olvera lead the Terriers attack in the win over the Fighting Scots with 14 combined goals, with senior
Sadie Dorr adding three goals, two assists, and six caused turnovers.

How it Happened:
- Pelletier and Olvera commanded the Terriers attack early in the 1st, scoring back-to-back goals just minutes into the game to give the Terriers an early 2-0 lead.
- Sophia Clayton (assisted by Pelletier) and Olvera continued to build momentum for the Terriers midway through the first, each finding the back of the net to extend the lead to four goals.
- The Fightings Scotts found a response in the following minutes to cut into their deficit, but a late strike from Sadie Dorr kept it a four goal game with just under two minutes to play in the 1st.
- Despite a quick answer from the Fighting Scots just seconds later, the Terriers still carried a 5–2 advantage heading into the 2nd quarter.
- A nice run and finish on net from Dorr in the early minutes of the 2nd helped the Terriers regain a four goal lead.
- But the Fighting Scots continued to pressure the Terriers defense, scoring consecutive goals in the following minutes to make it a 6-4 game with just under 9 minutes to play in the half.
- However, the Terriers reclaimed the momentum to close out the 2nd, with Olvera and Pelletier combining for five goals (with assists from Clayton and Jorgie Arduini) in the final eight minutes of the quarter to send Thomas into the half leading 11-4.Â
- Pelletier continued to build onto the Terriers lead in the opening minutes of the 3rd quarter, scoring her 4th goal of the game to extend the lead to eight.
- Despite two goals from Gordon midway through the 3rd, a man-down goal from Pelletier off a Dorr assist helped the Terriers maintain momentum in the following minutes.
- Gordon continued to battle late in the 3rd with a goal in the final minute of the quarter, sending the Terriers into the final fifteen minutes of play with a 13-7 advantage.
- The Terriers continued to push the pace in the opening minutes of the 4th quarter, with Dorr and Pelletier (assisted by Arduini) completing back-to-back strikes to extend the lead to eight goals.
- The Fighting Scots continued to respond to the Terriers with two consecutive goals of their own midway through the 4th quarter.
- But 3 combined goals from Pelletier and Olvera to close out the 4th quarter ultimately put the game out of reach, as the Terriers held on to secure an 18-10 win over Gordon College.
