Baseball Unable to Overcome Strong St. Scholastica Squad

Davenport, FL - Baseball played their sixth game of their annual spring trip on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026. The final score against the College of St. Scholastica was 3-10.


How it Happened:

  • The Terriers fell behind early in the first, allowing St. Scholastica to score two early making it 2-0.
  • Soon after the Saints struck again, taking a 4-0 lead in the second.
  • The Saints were able to continue their momentum, scoring two more runs in the third.
  • In the bottom of the inning the Terriers were able to earn a run back, thanks to a sacrifice fly from DJ Cagnina that scored Hayden Dippner to make it 6-1.
  • In the fifth inning the Saints tacked on one more run, making it 7-1, then scored three more in the sixth inning.
  • The Terriers had a rally in the ninth inning and scored two runs, thanks to good baserunning from Grady Hotham and a single from Logan Bader that scored Robby Neese.
  • The Terriers were ultimately unable to overcome St. Scholastica, falling 3-10.

  • Baseball will be back in action tomorrow, March 12th, when they take on Western New England University in a doubleheader in Davenport, Florida. Start times are scheduled for 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
