Waterville, ME - Club Men's Basketball hosted the #14 ranked UMaine Black Bears Club Basketball team on Sunday, February 8th. The Terriers fell to the Black Bears in game one by a final score of 35-61, but bounced back in game two, handing the #14th ranked Black Bears (11-1) their first loss of the season by a final score 56-55.

Game One - Thomas 35 - #14 UMaine 61
- The Terriers got off to a slow start in game one, trailing the Black Bears 15-27 after one half of play.
- Osher Kooznits and Dominic Crawford looked to continue facilitating the Terriers' offense in the 2nd, but a 12-0 run by the Black Bears to open the half shifted the game's momentum.
- The Terriers continued to battle in the 2nd half, but despite their best efforts, the Black Bears ultimately secured a 35-61 win in game one.
- Despite the loss, Kooznits led the way for the Terriers offense with 10 points.
Game Two - Thomas 56 - #14 UMaine 55
- The Terriers got off to a hot start in game two, completing a 17-7 run in the opening minutes of the 1st half, but the Black Bears found a late response to claim a 29-26 lead heading into the half.
- Both the Terriers and the Black Bears continued to battle for the lead throughout a tightly contested 2nd half.
- The Black Bears had a chance to steal game two with the final possession of the game, but strong defense from the Terriers in the closing seconds of regulation kept the Black Bears off the board to secure a gritty 56-55 win.
