Waterville, ME - Women's Tennis secured the #3 overall seed in the 2026 NAC Championship Playoffs after a doubleheader sweep against VTSU Johnson and VTSU Lyndon on Sunday, October 4th, 2026. This was the team's fourth and fifth straight 7-0 sweep against an opponent.
How it Happened:
Match One: 7-0 Win VS VTSU Johnson
- Lily Daigle and Taylor Juhase started the day at #1 doubles, earning a quick 6-1 win against their opponents.
- Gigi Bhagat and Sarah Mack swept their opponents 6-2 in the #2 spot.
- At #3 doubles Tracy Lopez and Kayla Bailey won by default due to Johnson only having four players.
- Juhase won 6-1, 3-0 (retired) at #1 singles.
- Bhagat, Daigle, and Mack all won 6-0, 6-0 in their matches to close out play for the Terriers.
- Lopez and Bailey at #5 and #6 singles won by default, giving the Terriers a 7-0 sweep.
Match Two: 7-0 Win VS VTSU Lyndon
- It was a similar story in the second match, with the Terriers earning an incredible perfect team sweep, with every single match ending 6-0.
- At #1 doubles Juhase and Daigle won 6-0, 6-0.
- Bhagat and Mack at the #2 spot also won 6-0.
- Lopez and Bailey once again won by default due to Lyndon only having four players.
- Juhase, lined up at the #1 singles spot again won 6-0, 6-0.
- Bhagat, Daigle, and Mack at singles #2, #3, and #4 all won 6-0, 6-0.
- Once again Lopez and Bailey won by default, handing the team another 7-0 sweep.
