The third official week of the NECC began with Thomas College taking on Boston College. Map one began with Thomas on the attacking half of Sunset. The Terriers and Eagles battled back and forth, with both teams fighting hard for control of the match. Thomas slowly started to edge out the lead and held on to it throughout the rest of the map, winning the first game 13-8. The second map was split, and it was much of the same story, with both teams fighting hard, but this time Boston took the early advantage. However, once Thomas swapped sides and started to attack, Anir "rinA" Tsolmon took over. By the end of the map, Anir mounted 30 elims and closed the series 13-9 for a 2-0 win over Boston College.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate looked to continue their dominance and improve their record to 3-0 against Augustana College. The Thomas squad had a phenomenal performance with every player contributing towards their victory. Through games one and two the Terriers only dropped 9 stocks total, taking all 24 of the stocks from Augustana without much resistance. The Thomas SSBU team looks to continue their undefeated streak into next week as they face off against the only other undefeated team in their group.

Thomas Rocket League was next up as they faced off against New England College. Looking to bounce back from their last week's loss, the Terriers were loose and ready to go. The first game of the series was strongly in the control of NEC, as they controlled the ball well and connected with each other taking the game 4-1. The second match of the set was much the opposite, with Thomas controlling the pace and mounting tons of pressure securing their own 4-1 game win. The third and fourth games of the match went either way, with the NEC Grims taking game 3, 3-2, and the Terriers taking game 4, 4-1. With both teams going back and forth blow for blow, taking one game at a time, we were nearing the breaking point of the series. Whoever won game 5 was likely to take the series. Feeling this pressure, the Terriers rose to the occasion and absolutely dominated with a 3-0 game win, and continued this into game 6. The Grims started hot in game 6, but ran out of gas, as the Terriers closed out the series 3-2 over New England College.

Marvel looked to bounce back after their rough game last week with the return of Hector the Terriers felt hopeful heading into the game against MSU Black. However MSU had a strong game plan and dominated the Terriers early winning both games 1 and 2. MSU opted to run a dive comp with Psylock and Venom disrupting the Terriers game plan of fighting front to back with Deadpool and Blade. The backline of the Terries struggled heavily against the constant aggression of the dive and with little help from the frontline ultimately folded. However the Terriers found their rhythm on map 3 when they banned out the dive and forced a more brawl heavy front to back play style from MSU. Rowan's blade shined and the Terriers were able to take a map back. MSU did not let their dive get banned out for map 4 though and protected their Venom. With the map being domination and Venom available, the dive of MSU proved to be too strong again for the Terriers and they lost the series 3-1. The Terriers cannot afford anymore losses this season if they have hopes of making the playoffs.

Overwatch Black kept their momentum going this week beating out SUNY Poly Blue in a 3-0 victory. The Terriers continued to play Neon on Doomfist with a Cat Kiri backline which proved to be too much for SUNY to keep up with. SUNY tried banning out Neon's Doomfist on map 3 but Neon comfortably flexed to a Demon and Hazard pick which kept the domination rolling to an easy 3-0 sweep.
Overwatch Red had a difficult week, dropping both of their matches against New England Institute of Technology (NEIT) and the New Haven Chargers. In Wednesday's matchup against NEIT, the Terriers struggled to find their footing, particularly with map control and damage output. NEIT took advantage of the Terriers grouping up in one area, focusing their damage and cooldowns to secure an easy 3-0 victory. Following a VOD review of the match, the Terriers entered Friday's matchup against the New Haven Chargers with more confidence. The series was back and forth, with each team trading maps. The Chargers took the first map, but the Terriers responded by banning Freya, one of the Chargers' stronger damage heroes, and winning map two. The Terriers also showed improvement on Midtown, using better positioning and map control after reviewing their previous match. However, the Chargers countered the Terriers' Torbjörn pick with a ban of their own, taking map three to go up 2-1 in the series. Facing elimination, the Terriers bounced back on map four, sweeping the Chargers on Push after their opponents made a substitution. With the series tied 2-2, everything came down to map five on Route 66. The Chargers banned Ramattra, while the Terriers banned Mei. The Terriers managed to push their payload slightly past the second checkpoint and looked to hold the Chargers there. However, a late switch to Mauga proved to be the difference. The Chargers used Mauga's charges and slams to punish the positioning of the Terriers' Torbjörn and Sigma, breaking through the defense and securing the series with a 3-2 victory. The Terriers fall to 1-2 on the season and will need to turn things around quickly as they look to keep their playoff hopes alive.
