The second week of Thomas Esports matches in the NECC were kicked off by the Thomas Valorant squad matching up against Boston University. The battle of the Terriers began with the teams squaring off on Sunset. Thomas started on the attacking side and was an absolute dogfight. Both teams gritted their teeth and fought hard for every single round they could accrue. Heading into the second half the scoreline was 6-6, neither team with momentum, and a whole lot of Valorant left to play. Thomas, now defending, started off a bit slow, falling behind Boston, but never out of the picture. The team rallied hard and brought it back, from being 2 rounds from losing the series, to winning 6 of the last 8 rounds and closing the map with a 13-11 win. Map two headed to Lotus with Thomas starting on the attack yet again. This time around, Thomas looked absolutely dominant with very few errors and every cylinder firing. Thomas closed out the second game without much resistance winning 13-4 over Boston University.

Marvel Rivals faced Fanshawe College in Week 2, looking to build on last week's momentum with their triple-support composition. However, the Terriers were without Hector (Greyo), who had to sit out for personal reasons. Warren (ArcAngel) stepped in as a last-minute substitute, but the roster change did not slow the Terriers down. The Terriers dominated the opening map on Domination. After FUEL reached 60% capture progress, Thomas took control of the point and held it for the remainder of the map, winning 2-0. FUEL bounced back on the second map, Convergence, after banning Thanks' Deadpool and Rowan's Blade. The Terriers left Gambit available, allowing FUEL to take advantage of the matchup. FUEL won the map comfortably, as Thomas struggled to adjust to their triple-support Gambit composition, tying the series at 1-1. With the series even, the Terriers moved Thank back to tank and returned Pokki to support, despite Deadpool being banned. The adjustment paid off, as Thomas won Map 3 in overtime, 4-3. FUEL responded on Map 4, winning 2-0 on their chosen Domination map after adapting to the Terriers' strategy. With the series tied at 2-2, everything came down to Map 5. With their backs against the wall, Tank brought out The Hood, a character similar to Tank's usual playstyle, in an attempt to throw FUEL off rhythm. The strategy nearly paid off, as the Terriers made a strong push but fell just short of capturing the third point. FUEL answered with an aggressive push of their own, quickly capturing the second point. With three minutes to defend, the Terriers put together a strong defensive effort, forcing the match into overtime. FUEL then made an unusual teleport (TP) play to contest the point and keep the match alive. Both teams traded eliminations in a tense final fight, but FUEL narrowly came out on top, defeating the Terriers 3-2 in the series.

Rocket League was next on the docket against Pace University. The Terriers and the Setters both won their week one match and were looking to hold onto their undefeated record. Two very different teams with very different styles clashed on the pitch. Thomas, seemingly much more mechanically inclined, and Pace with a slower more controlled team focused style met in the middle. Pace started off hot with strong defensive rotations and good counter attacks, taking the first 3 games of the set, out scoring Thomas 12 goals to 2. The fourth game was all Thomas as their individual prowess really shined, ending the game 3-0. With a mountain to climb and momentum on their side, Thomas started their march. Game 5 began and Pace found the early lead. The Terriers put their foot on the gas and started to heavily pressure the Setters for the rest of the match. They were able to find many scoring chances, but were not able to put anything away, losing the game and series 4-1 to the Pace Esports crew.

The Thomas SSBU squad took on the Pittsburg State University team in a 3 game series. The first crew battle began with both teams fighting back and forth, but once first year Lucas "Glow Raptor" Phillips hit the stage it was lights out. Lucas started hot and took 8 straight stocks from the Pittsburgh squad on his own, winning the first set with a 5 stock pool remaining. Game 2 was much closer, with both teams coming down to their last player and last few stocks. Gage "artemis" Bruns stepped in as the anchor with a large deficit to bring back, and got it down to the final player, but in the end was not able to close it out. With this momentum, Thomas decided to start Gage and it was absolutely the right call. Gage took out all but the final player from the Pittsburg State SSBU team, which left easy cleanup work and a series win 2-1 over Pittsburg State University. Thomas SSBU improves their SSBU record to 2-0 on the season.
