Waterville, ME - Women's Volleyball opened North Atlantic Conference play with a 3-0 sweep over the Lesley University Lynx in the Terriers home opener on Friday, September 26th, 2025.

How it Happened:

• The Terriers dominated in the first set, with kills from Ana Romero, Marissa Cates, and Addison Lebel helping the Terriers to a 11-2 lead.
• The Terriers continued to keep pace, with an attack error from the Lynx ending the first set and giving the Terriers a 1-0 advantage.
• Headed into the second set the Terriers would be briefly tested, but kills from Lindsay Pool and Lebel early only gave them a 12-10 lead.
• Two service aces from Romero and another kill from Pool helped the Terriers break away on a 6-0 run late in the set, eventually leading to a 25-16 win.
• WIth the Terriers only needing one more set for victory, Romero, Marissa Cates, and Jordan Child played a big role in keeping the team consistent down the stretch.
• The Terriers went on a 9-0 run mid set after a back-and-forth scoreline thanks to several attacking errors and some great team plays.
• By the end of the third set the Terriers had won 25-11 after three kills in the span of four plays from Lebel.
• With a 3-0 overall sweep of the Lynx, the Terriers are now 1-0 in conference play for the season.
