Augusta, ME – Women's Soccer traveled to take on the University of Maine Augusta Moose on Saturday, September 20^th, 2025. The final score was 2-1 in a hard-fought contest.
 
How it Happened:

• Both teams had several chances in the first half, with the Terriers earning 14 shots compared to the Moose's 10.
• In the 33^rd minute Ally Southwick scored an unassisted goal to give the Terriers a 1-0 lead.
• Emily Rock was able to make several good saves in the first 45 minutes, earning five total.
• Headed into the second half, Alexandra Wallingford was able to convert a penalty kick in the 76^th minute to give the Terriers a comfortable 2-0 lead.
• However, the Moose struck back five minutes later with a goal of their own, making it 2-1.
• Despite a late push from the Moose, the Terriers defended well and earned a 2-1 win.
