Women's Volleyball Falls in Curry College Tri-Match

Milton, MA – Women's Volleyball traveled to Curry College on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, for a tri-match against Framingham State and host Curry College. The final scores were 1–3 to Framingham State and 1–3 to Curry.

Match One - 1-3 VS Framingham State University

How it Happened:

  • In the first set Framingham State got off to a fast start and took control, winning 25–14.
  • The Terriers fought back and kept things halfway through the second set, with kills from Lindsay Pool and Kenzie Bills.
  • With that momentum the Terriers went on to win the second set, 25-18.
  • In the third set, the terriers fought hard, highlighted by digs from Ana Romero and Camille Gibson along with a block from Addison Lebel.
  • Despite their best efforts Terriers lost 25–15 to close third set, giving Framingham State a 2-1 lead.
  • In the fourth set Framingham State jumped out to a 16-6 lead and never looked back.
  • Framingham State eventually went on to win the fourth set 25-12, handing the Terriers a 1-3 loss.

Match Two – 1-3 VS Curry College 

How it Happened:

  • In the second match of the day the Terriers started the first set with a 9–7 lead with kills by Bills and Lebel.
  • Curry's late comeback helped them defeat the Terriers 25–22 to make it 0-1.
  • The Terriers kept up their offensive pressure and rallied in the second set, which was another close match, but Curry managed to pull ahead to win 25–17.
  • With back-to-back service aces from Lebel and tough defense from Romero, the Terriers answered back with a 25-20 victory in the third set.
  • Heading into the fourth set - both teams continued to trade points, with Romero and Zainab Albraihi maintaining a solid defensive presense in the back row.
  • Despite some positive moments Curry finished out the fourth set 25-21, as they went on to earn a 3-1 match win against the Terriers.

What's Next:

  • Women's Volleyball will be back in action for their home opener on Friday, September 26th, against Lesley University. Match time is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
