Waterville, ME - Women's Tennis fell in a hard-fought matchup against the Plymouth State University Panthers on Wednesday, September 17th, 2025. The final score was 4-5.

How it Happened:

• Taylor Juhase and Lily Daigle at #1 doubles fell by a score of 5-7.
• Keira Gilman and Gigi Bhagat dominated in their matchup at #2 singles, 6-1.
• Lillian Mickel and Kayla Bailey nearly squeaked out a win, but fell 6-7 (7-5 tiebreaker).
• With the Terriers down 0-1 in the overall score, they looked to rebound in singles matches.
• Juhase at #1 singles wasn't able to overcome her opponent, falling 4-6, 5-7.
• At #2 singles Gilman sqeaked by with a win in a tiebreaker, 6-1, 2-6, 7-6, 7-3.
• Bhagat dominated in #3 singles, winning 6-1, 6-0, to make the overall score 2-2.
• Daigle in #4 singles fell 4-6, 1-6.
• In #5 singles Mickel fell in another tight matchup, 6-3, 3-6, 5-7.
• And finally in #6 singles Tracy Lopez won 6-4, 6-0, to make the final overall team score 4-5
• Despite the team loss the Terriers had good moments, making for a very competitive afternoon of Tennis.

• Women's Tennis will be back in action on Saturday, September 20th, when they travel to take on Vermont State University Johnson. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
