Bristol Sine finished with 20 saves, but it wasn't enough as Women's Lacrosse fell to the Husson University Eagles by a score of 3-13 on Wednesday, April 2
nd, 2025. Sine also earned her 200
th career save in the first quarter.
How it Happened:
- The Eagles took the lead first, scoring four minutes in to make it 1-0.
- Minutes later Emily Wallingford found Mary LaRochelle, who scored to tie things up 1-1.
- With little time remaining in the first quarter, the Eagles scored again to take a 2-1 lead.
- Mara Gentry responded with a goal of her own to open up the second quarter from a free position attempt.
- The Eagles went into halftime with a 4-2 lead, but it was Bristol Sine who was the star of the first half, making several crucial stops to keep the Terriers in the game.
- Isabella Pelletier was able to score despite being a player down early in the second half to make things 3-4.
- The Eagles would then split the game wide open, scoring seven unanswered to make it 11-3 headed into the fourth quarter.
- Despite several more important saves from Sine, the Terriers were outscored again in the final quarter, making the final score 3-13.
