Men’s Lacrosse Spoils Eagles Senior Day With 12-11 North Atlantic Conference Win

Bangor, ME – Charlie Foster-Major led Thomas past Husson University in a North Atlantic Conference, finishing with 4 goals and 1 assist in the Terriers 12-11 win over the Eagles on Saturday, April 19th. With the win over the Eagles, the Terriers have officially clinched the #3 seed in the 2025 North Atlantic Conference tournament.

How it Happened:

  • The Eagles would jump out to an early lead, scoring back-to-back goals in the first few minutes.

  • The Terriers would close the quarter with two additional goals, with Timothy Worster (O. Lyons assist) and Charlie Foster-Major each scoring in the final minutes of the quarter to give the Terriers a 4-2 lead heading into the second.

  • The Terriers would extend their lead midway through the second, with Connor Hamilton capitalizing off a man-up opportunity to make it a 5-2 game.

  • But the Eagles would find a response to close the quarter, scoring two late goals to cut the Terriers lead to just one goal heading into halftime.

  • The Eagles would reclaim the lead early in the third after two goals in the opening minutes of the second half.

  • However, Morrill would tie the game up again just minutes later, scoring his second goal of the game (O. Lyons assist).

  • The Terriers would score two man-down goals in the third, with Hunter Simpson (Foster-Major assist) and O. Lyons each finding the back of the net midway through the quarter.

  • Worster would close the third quarter with his second goal of the game (W. Lyons assist), but late goals from the Eagles would make it a 9-8 game heading into the fourth quarter.

  • Foster-Major would take over the Terriers offense in the fourth quarter, scoring three unassisted goals in the final 15 minutes of play.

  • The Eagles scored three goals in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough as the Terriers would hold on for a 12-11 North Atlantic Conference win.

  • Terriers keeper Daniel Guarino would earn his 400th career save in the Terriers win over the Eagles, finishing the contest with 11 total saves.
