Brunswick, ME – Baseball came up short against a talented 15-2 Bowdoin College squad on Tuesday, April 1^st, 2025. The final score was 6-11 in a nine-inning contest.

 
How it Happened:

• A single from the Polar Bears in the first inning saw them take a single run lead.
• The Polar Bears jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two innings and kept working away to eventually grow their lead to 9-0 entering the fifth inning.
• The Terriers put together a fantastic fifth inning, making the most of their two hits.
• A single from Elijah Morton scored Matt Seymour and Gavin Clark to make it 2-0 with no outs.
• Tony Meza sent a single to left field that scored Morton and Hayden Dippner to double the score to four runs.
• Two walks in a row for Samuel Keblinsky and DJ Cagnina, followed by a wild pitch, eventually led to Meza scoring to make it 5-9.
• Later in the inning Cam Haynes hit a sacrifice fly that scored Keblinsky to make it 6-9.
• However, despite the momentum, the Polar Bears remained composed.
• The Polar Bears would shut out the Terriers in the final four innings while tacking on two more runs to make the final score 6-11.
