Bartow, FL – The Terriers faced Beloit College and Hood College on their second day of competition. In Game 1, Thomas delivered a strong performance, securing an 8-0 victory over Beloit. However, Game 2 saw the Terriers struggle offensively, resulting in an 8-2 loss to Hood.
Game 1: Thomas vs. Beloit College
- Both teams had a slow start, with Thomas not reaching base until the third inning.
- First-Year Maddy Morris hit a clutch double to bring in two runs, scoring Layla Pickering and Abby Farone, who had doubled earlier.
- The Terriers added three runs in the fifth inning. Morris hit an RBI single, Kayla Duhaime followed with a triple to score Morris, and a wild pitch during Megan Oberholzer's at-bat allowed Duhaime to score, making it 5-0.
- In the sixth, Leah Knight stole second, and a throwing error allowed Teresa McLinden to score, extending the lead to 6-0.
- Two more runs came in the seventh inning: Oberholzer doubled to right center to score Duhaime, and McLinden singled to bring home Maeve Hickok, who pinch-ran for Oberholzer.
- The Terriers' defense was solid, allowing only four baserunners throughout the game.

- Addy Boyce pitched six strong innings, allowing just one walk and three hits while striking out five.

Game 2: Thomas vs. Hood College
- Hood opened the scoring with a run in the first inning.
- Thomas responded with an RBI single from Maeve Hickok, driving in Carlie Jarvais, who had singled earlier.
- Hood regained the lead with an RBI in the second inning and exploded for four runs in the third, making it 6-1.
- The Terriers managed a run in the fifth inning with a single to left field by Makayla Panich but couldn't sustain the momentum.
- Hood added one run in the sixth and another in the seventh to seal an 8-2 victory.

- Sophomore Jennie Whitten started on the mound, pitching just over two innings.
- Brooklyn Federico pitched the final five innings, striking out six and allowing only two runs.
