2/25/2025 4:01:00 PM

League of Legends
  • Week two of Thomas Esports Matches began with the League of Legends roster facing off against St. Lawrence University.
  • The first match of this best of three was mostly controlled by St. Lawrence.
  • With a strong early game and seamless transition into the mid-game, Thomas struggled to find a foothold and quickly fell to St. Lawrence.
  • In game two Thomas came out much stronger and had a solid start to the match, but with a small hiccup and a swift counter attack from St. Lawrence, Thomas lost control of the match and eventually fell 0-2, losing the series moving to 1-1 in the division.
  • Week three for the Terriers kicked off with Thomas League of Legends against Pace University.
  • Looking to bounce back from the previous week, the Terriers jumped into game one, but found themselves at the foot of a mountain after losing a teamfight early in the game.
  • However, with an excellent draft and great damage control, the Terriers mid laner Eric Roussy (roussy05) led the team to an incredible comeback from the position, winning the game with a scoreline of 11/3/4.
  • Game 2 the momentum was all in favor of the Terriers. Again with a stronger draft and counter pick by Eric on Sylas, the Terriers dismantled the Pace University roster.
  • Eric finished the match with a scoreline of 20/1/6, smashing the Pace mid and jungle duo, ending the game in 24 minutes and 19 seconds.

Overwatch 2

  • Both Thomas Overwatch teams, Black and Red, fell short in week two losing to Champlain, and New England Institute of Technology.
  • Thomas Overwatch Black was able to take a map on Champlain, but ultimately lost 3-1 to the strong Champlain team.
  • They will look to bounce back next week to potentially improve their record to 2-1.
  • Thomas Overwatch Red also lost a tough game against New England Institute of Technology, as they were unable to find any momentum.
  • Thomas Overwatch Black improved massively heading into week three.
  • After some tactical adjustments from Head Esports Coach Jonathan Middour the team won a commanding 3-0 match against the University of Connecticut Huskies.
  • The Terriers didn't let off the pressure and took home the win, improving their record to 1-2. The team looks to build off the newfound chemistry and momentum in their next week's game.
  • Thomas Overwatch Red struggled in their game in week three, losing 3-0 to a strong St. Lawrence University team.
