Waterville, ME – Women's Lacrosse fell to Lasell University in the 2025 season opener by a score of 6-19 on Saturday, February 22^nd, 2025.

Thomas College: Overall (0-1)
Lasell University: Overall (1-0)
 
How it Happened:

• The Terriers got on the scoreboard first, after Isabella Pelletier converted a free position attempt to make it 1-0 two minutes in.
• Lasell struck back with three goals of their own in the next two minutes to take a 3-1 lead.
• Lasell took an 8-1 lead into the second quarter as the Terriers looked to battle back.
• Emily Wallingford was able to split the defense and score a minute in to the second quarter to make it 2-9.
• Pelletier would strike again with five minute to go until halftime, making it 3-10.
• The Terriers went into halftime down 3-12 but were able to put together a strong third quarter.
• Piper Hewins, Sophia Clayton, and Emily Gower found the back of the net in the third quarter, but the Terriers found themselves down 6-16 headed into the fourth.
• Despite a high scoring third quarter, the Terriers were unable to generate any clear-cut opportunities in the fourth, leading to a 6-19 loss.
