  • Despite the Terrier lead, the Owls kept calm and slowly started to chip away through the closing minutes of the second half.
  • Jackson Ruelke scored the six of the final eight points of the half for the Terriers to make it 39-36 at the break.

  • A 6-2 run from the Terriers with five minutes left made it 76-80, but the Owls continued to hang on.
  • With a minute remaining Briggs was fouled on a difficult layup and made the resulting free throw to make it 83-84.
  • A final shot attempt from the Terriers came up just short, and the Owls walked away with an 88-85 win.
