Chicopee, MA – Men's Basketball fell in their 2025/26 regular season opener at Elms College on Friday, November 7
th, 2025. The final score was 57-83 despite outscoring Elms in the second half, 29-28.
How it Happened:
- The Terriers got off to a slow start, with Elms taking a 26-3 lead early on.
- A three pointer from Nate Hebert started the Terriers on a battle back.
- Points from Brady Adams, Hebert, and TJ Blackmon in the next few minutes made it 12-42.
- Faron Cureton scored five straight points for the Terriers and added another three soon after to make it 28-55 at halftime.
- After a rough first half, the Terriers settled in during the second to remain competitive.
- The Terriers started the half with a 6-0 run thanks to Jayden Desimone and Blackmon.
- However, Elms continued to keep pace with the Terriers, eventually making it 34-63 eight minutes into the second half.
- A three from Hebert and free throws from Isiah Corson soon followed, as both teams continued to trade points.
- With five minutes remaining the Terriers went on another 6-0 run thanks to Spencer Minihan and Blackmon to make it 48-74.
- The Terriers continued to battle to the very end and closed the game on a positive note with a three from Omri Sarid despite the 57-83 loss.
