Waterville, ME - Women's Basketball bounced back in their second match of the Gene Lorenzo Tip Off Tournament on Sunday, November 16th, defeating the Dean College Bulldogs by a final score of 91-55.
Elena Alderman and
Pryelle Kesse-Beda would lead the Terriers offense with impressive performances, combining for 42 points in the win over the Bulldogs.
How it Happened:
- The Terriers would seize the momentum from the opening tip off, completing a 14-0 run in five minutes thanks to Kesse-Beda, Alderman, Holly Loring, and Deja Hamilton.
- Kesse-Beda and Alderman would continue to find holes in the Bulldogs defense midway through the first, extending the Terriers lead to 15 points.
- A strong defensive quarter and late buckets from Roxy Dagostino and Brooklyn Calder in the first would give the Terriers a 26-9 lead heading into the second quarter.
