Standish, ME – The Thomas College women's volleyball team was defeated in straight sets by St. Joseph's College of Maine, falling 0-3 on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025.

 

How It Happened: 

• The Terriers opened the match with strong energy, earning early points behind kills from Addison Lebel and Kenzie Bills. 

• St. Joseph's responded with consistent hitting to take control late and claim the first set 25–12. 

• The Monks maintained their momentum with steady attacking and took the second set 25–14, despite solid defense from Camille Gibson in the back row.

• Heading into the third set, both teams traded points early, with Ana Romero providing serving pressure and Brooklyn Barbeau adding assists to keep the offense flowing. 

• Addison Lebel and Marissa Cates contributed at the net with blocks to slow the Monks' attack. 

• Despite a strong finish and several long rallies, St. Joseph's held on to win the final set 25–17. 

• The match ended 0–3 loss, bringing the terriers record overall 6-14.
