Waterville, Maine - Men's NIRSA Club Soccer hosted Central Maine Community College on Wednesday, October 29th, but ultimately fell to the talented Mustangs squad by a final score of 0-9.


How it Happened:

• The Mustangs would jump to an early lead in the first half, scoring three quick goals to put the Terriers down 0-3. 
• The Terriers would generate multiple scoring late in the first half, but the Mustangs would take a 0-6 lead at the half.
• The Terriers would look to claw their way back into the game early in the second half, but a defensive save from the Mustangs would keep the Terriers off the board.
• Despite the Terriers second half comeback efforts, the Mustangs would ultimately take control of the contest and hand the Terriers a 0-9 loss.
• Terriers keeper Keein Wright would finish the contest with seven saves despite the loss to the Mustangs.

What's Next: 

• The Terriers will look to bounce back on Sunday, November 2nd, traveling to Standish, Maine to take on the Saint Joseph's College of Maine Club Soccer team. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:30 PM.
