Presque Isle, ME - Women's Soccer secured a North Atlantic Conference playoff spot after defeating the University of Maine Presque Isle Owls 6-2 in an away matchup on Saturday, October 25th, 2025.

How it Happened:

• The Terriers got off to a hot start, with shots from Yaribel Pena and Briley Rutledge needing to be saved by the Owls goalkeeper.
• In the 12th minute Alexandra Wallingford scored a solo goal to give the Terriers an important lead.
• Three minutes later a pass from Mya Edgecomb found Pena, who scored to make it 2-0.
• In the 18th minute the Owls struck, scoring to cut the lead to just one goal.
• The Terriers dominated the remainder of the half, but several saves from the Owls goalkeeper meant the Terriers took a one goal lead headed into the second half.
• Nearly three minutes into the second half Amber Fortin scored, giving the Terriers a 3-1 lead.
• The Terriers then caught fire, scoring again in the 50th and 54th minutes to take a dominant 5-1 lead.
• Edgecomb found Rutledge who scored the team's fourth goal, and Rutledge found Pena to make it 5-1.
• Four minutes later Rutledge assisted again, with her pass finding Breonna Dufrense, who scored to make it 6-1.
• In the flurry of goals the Owls scored one of their own in the 60th minute, making it 6-2.
• The Owls still pushed on, with saves from Emily Rock and Anna Durost eventually securing the 6-2 win for the team.
