Waterville, ME - Men's and Women's Cross Country competed in the team's annual Thomas College Invitational at home on Saturday, October 18th, 2025. Men's Cross Country placed in first out of five teams in the 8K, and Women's Cross Country placed second out of two scoring teams in the 6K.
How it Happened:
- Gage Bruns placed third on the Men's side with a time of 27:35.1.
- Patrick McKenney followed in fourth place with a time of 28:03.5.
- Jeffrey Fees placed fifth with a time of 28:08.5.
- The Men's team placed in first with just 27 points, three ahead of Maine Maritime Academy in second place.
- On the Women's side Maria Protheroe placed first with a time of 25:09.1, winning by almost 30 seconds.
- Kayla Hatt was the second Terrier finisher with a time of 28:57.4, good for sixth place.
- Catherine Torkelson was third Terrier to cross the finish line, placing 12th with a time of 31:29.5.
- The Women's team placed in second out of two teams with 38 points.
What's Next:
- Men's and Women's Cross Country will be back in action on Saturday, November 1st, when they travel to Husson University to compete in the 2025 North Atlantic Conference Championships.
