How it Happened:

  • Both teams would trade points early in the second quarter, but the Tigers would continue to pressure the Terriers on both ends of the floor.
  • Alderman and Mollie Gray would take control of the Terriers offense the second quarter, combining for 9 of the 15 points scored by the team in the second quarter, but the Terriers would find themselves down 38-24 at the half after another strong offensive quarter from the Tigers.
  • In the opening minutes of third quarter, Gray would continue to chip away at the Terriers deficit with 5 quick points, but the Tigers would continue to find responses to the Terriers offense.
