Hallowell, Maine – Terriers Men's Ice Hockey fell short to the Dartmouth College club hockey team on their senior night by a score of 0-2 on Saturday, January 25th. 

Thomas College: Overall (7-8) 

How it Happened: 

• The Terriers and Big Green would go back and forth with scoring opportunities for the majority of the first period. 

• But Dartmouth would eventually score the first goal of the game late in the first period, putting the Terriers down 0-1 heading into the second period. 

• The Terriers would have two power play opportunities in the first period but would be unable to capitalize on either of them. 

• Dartmouth would continue to pressure the Terriers midway through the second period, scoring their second goal of the game to put the Terriers down 0-2.

• The Terriers would have multiple scoring opportunities in the second period but would still find themselves down 0-2 heading into the period. 

• The Terriers would look to flip the momentum of the game in the third, putting up 17 shots on net in the period.  

• Despite the Terriers comeback effort in the third, Dartmouth would ultimately hold on to hand the Terriers a 0-2 loss. 

• Terriers' goaltender Matt D'Ortona would finish the game with 26 saves off 28 shots faced despite the Terriers loss. 

What's Next: 

The Terriers will look to bounce back on Friday, January 31st, taking on the Bates College Bobcats in a road match up. Puck drop is currently to be determined.
