Castine, ME – Men's Basketball fell to the Maine Maritime Academy Mariners by a score of 50-72 in their first meeting of the season.
Jackson Ruelke led the team with 19 points and six rebounds in the away matchup.

How it Happened:
- The Terriers found themselves in a hole early, as the Mariners jumped out to a quick 11-2 lead.
- However, the Terriers began to battle back with several points coming from Camryn Yorke, Parker Desjardins, and Loki Anda.
- With under eight minutes to go in the first half Yorke found Luke Gabloff to cut the Mariner lead to just six points, 22-28.
- Despite the comeback attempt from the Terriers, the Mariners hit several shots in the next few minutes to give them a 40-25 lead at halftime.
- Jackson Ruelke had a great start to the second half, scoring five quick points to respond to a few Mariner baskets.
- Seven minutes into the second half the Terriers went on a 7-0 run, but still found themselves down 39-49.
- With five minutes remaining in the game the Mariners scored nine straight points to put them up 69-48.
- Isiah Corson would score the final points of the game for the Terriers, making the final score 50-72 in favor of the Mariners.
