Biddeford, ME – Men's and Women's Cross Country competed in the 2024 Ron Ouellette Invitational on Saturday, September 7^th, 2024. The Women's team placed fourth out of seven teams in the 2.1 mile run, and the Men's team placed sixth out of seven teams in the 5000 Meter event. 
 
 
Men's 5000 Meter:  

• Patrick McKenney placed in 16^th in the Men's 5000 Meter out of 71 runners, finishing with a time of 16:55.3.
• Gage Bruns and Michael Johnson both finished inside the top 30, placing 26^th and 28^th with times of 17:58.2 and 18:09.1.
• Overall, the team placed sixth out of seven schools with an average time of 18:00 and a total score of 140.

Women's 2.1 Mile:

• Maria Protheroe placed in seventh in the Women's 2.1 Mile Run with a time of 13:44.6.
• Savaughn Kungxat-Facenda placed in 12^th with a time of 14:09
• Emma Burr finished in 29^th place with a time of 15:36.6.
• Overall, the team placed fourth out of seven schools, finished with a score of 102, and had an average time of 15:10.

 
What's Next:

• Cross Country will look to continue their season as they travel to New Gloucester, Maine to compete in the 2024 Maine State Meet on Saturday, September 21^st, 2024. Start time is to be determined.
