Castine, ME - The Thomas College Women's Cross Country team competed at the Mariner Invite on Wednesday at Maine Maritime Academy, taking part in 3K head-to-head races against Maine Maritime and the University of Maine at Presque Isle. The Terriers won both, winning 27-29 and 27-28.

How It Happened:

• Emma Burr led the Terriers with a time of 15:32.7, finishing second overall against Maine Maritime and third against UMPI.
• Naba Yahya followed with a time of 15:33.1, placing third against Maine Maritime and fourth against UMPI.
• Karissa Cotoia  finished with a time of 17:09.0
• Sadie Pomeroy finished with a time of 17:09.3.
• Alyson Ellis rounded out the Thomas lineup with a time of 19:24.0.

What's Next:

•  The Terriers will return home on Saturday, October 3, hosting the Thomas College Invitational at the Sukeforth Family Trail System in Waterville. The meet is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.
