Waterville, ME – Women's Lacrosse was unable to keep pace with the Rivier University Raiders on Tuesday, March 12
th, 2024. The final score was 6-13 in the Terriers' second game of the season.

How it Happened:
- The Raiders got off to a quick start, scoring two goals in the first four minutes of the game to make it 2-0.
- The Terriers almost instantly responded, scoring two quick goals of their own.
- Emily Wallingford found Alia Chasse for the first, and an individual effort from Scarlett Raymond-Ayer tied the game up at 2-2.
- The Raiders wouldn't quit, as they tacked on two straight goals to make it 4-2.
- Wallingford would get on the scoresheet with about a minute left in the first quarter, with Raymond-Ayer providing the assist.
- Within the opening two minutes of the second quarter the Raiders struck again to make it a 5-2 lead over the Terriers
- Eight minutes into the second quarter Raymond-Ayer would score again, thanks to a nice pass from Mary LaRochelle.
- The Raiders would score again before halftime, and the Terriers found themselves down 4-6 going into the break.
- The Raiders would dominate the third quarter, scoring three straight goals to extend their lead to five.
- The Raiders started the fourth quarter just how they ended the third and scored two quick goals to give themselves a 11-4 lead.
- Less than a minute after the last Raider goal, LaRochelle utilized a free position attempt to make it 11-5.
- Samantha Snow would score two minutes later thanks to an assist by Wallingford, but the Raiders kept consistent and scored two more of their own.
- The Terriers ultimately came up short, and the final score was 6-13.
