Box Score Castine, ME – Women's Basketball ends their season in the North Atlantic Conference Quarterfinals against the Easts number one seed, Maine Maritime Academy, 101-43.
 
How it Happened:

• The game got started rather quickly with the Mariners hitting two threes right off the back, but the Terriers kept close with two good layups.
• The Mariners slowly increased the gap going up twelve points at the end of the first.
• Hannah Coolen stopped the almost ten-minute drought for the Terriers in the second quarter with a pair of made free throws off a fast break.
• Turnovers and shots made behind the arch hurt the Terriers and helped put the Mariners up by almost forty at the half, 58-19.
• Sky Kubwalo hit eight of her eleven baskets in the third quarter, as Thomas went into the fourth quarter down 81-37.
• Sophomore Paige Lafrenaye put three of Terriers six points in the fourth up on the board, as they fell 101-43 to MMA.
