How it Happened:

  • The Eagles would start the game strong, going on a 12-2 run in the first few minutes of the first half.

  • Jackson Ruelke and Camryn Yorke would get the Terriers offense going shortly after, with each scoring in the paint to cut the Eagles lead to single digits.

  • The Eagles offense would quickly respond to the Terriers with pressure, going on a 9-0 scoring run midway through the first half.

  • The Terriers would find some momentum a few minutes later with a 9-3 scoring run of their own to cut the Eagles lead to just four points late in the half.

  • But the Terriers would ultimately find themselves down 44-31 at halftime due to a late scoring run from the Eagles in the final minutes of the half.

  • Luke Briggs would try and get the Terriers offense back into the game early in the second half, but the Eagles would continue to pressure the Terriers on both sides of the court.

  • Ruelke, Yorke and Parker Desjardins would help cut into the Eagles lead midway through the second half.
