Bangor, ME – Women's Volleyball downed the Husson University Eagles by a score of 3-1 to earn their third win of the season on Saturday, October 5
th, 2024.

Husson University: Overall (3-10), NAC (1-2)
How it Happened:
- The Terriers jumped out to a huge 6-1 lead in the first set, thanks to several attack errors and kills from Einy Mendez and Jordan Child.
- The Eagles were able to battle back, scoring six points of their own to tie things up 6-6.
- Both teams traded points, but the Terriers ended on a 7-1 run to win the first set 25-21.
- The Terriers largely dominated the second set, outscoring the Eagles in short bursts thanks to some strong play from Mendez and MJ Rose.
- After taking the second set 25-20, the Eagles began to battle back.
- Despite the Terriers best efforts, the Eagles ended the set on a 13-5 run to make it 2-1.
- In the fourth set the Terriers were able to bounce back, but still were battling with the Eagles.
- With the score 24-22, Mendez stepped up to serve and earned an ace to seal the 3-1 match win for the Terriers.
