Waterville, ME – Women's Soccer would be unable to find an answer to the Lynx attack and would be defeated by a final score of 0-2 in a North Atlantic Conference match on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024.
 

Thomas: Overall (1-10-1), NAC (1-7-1) 

Lesley Overall (9-6-1), NAC (6-3) 

How it Happened: 

• Rock would open the match with five stellar saves within the first ten minutes of play to keep things level.

• Emily Wallingford would have an offensive opportunity midway through the first half, but the Lynx keeper would ultimately make the save to keep the match tied.

• Emily Rock would finish with 14 saves in the first half to keep the match even going into the break.

• The Terriers defense would continue to hold the Lynx attack early in the second half, but Lesley would eventually find the back of the net, putting the Terriers down 0-1.

• The Terriers attack would have some opportunities to attack midway through the second half, but were unable to capitalize. 

• Lesley would score again in the 70th minute of play and would take control of the remainder of the match, handing the Terriers a 0-2 loss at home.

• Rock would finish the match with an impressive 22 saves despite the loss.

What's Next:  

• The Terriers will celebrate their seniors in their last regular season matchup of the year, taking on the University of Maine Presque Isle Owls on Saturday, October 26th. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 at Smith Field.
