How it Happened:
  • Fisher college got out to a quick start, two quick layups, a jumper and a three pointer would see the Terriers down 11-4 halfway through the first quarter.
  • The last two minutes of the quarter the Terriers started to take the game over, Jay Jordan would kick things off with midrange jumper, Alderman would steal the ball and turn it into a transition layup, Coolen would cut the lead to 1 with a layup and then would put the terriers in the lead knocking down both ends of a trip to the line.
  • The first quarter would end with Thomas in the lead 14-13.
  • The Second quarter was all Terriers, Coolen and Yaribel Pena would kick things off with a pair of layups, then Sky Kubwalo would grab an offensive rebound and get a quick put back to stretch the lead.
  • Alderman, Brooke Jones, Hana Isahac, Emily Parent and Holly Loring would all pitch in on the scoring and continued to further the gap on the scoreboard, at the half the Terrier's led 38-25.
  • The third quarter was more of the same, 6 different Terriers would score in the quarter. Thomas would outscore Fisher 21-14 in the third quarter. That would be all the home side needed as they cruised to a commanding 67-49 win.
  • When asked about how he felt the team preformed coming off a long break, Coach Coleman said this, "It was a great team win for us coming off of a long break. Everyone was able to see the floor and contribute. It's always nice to win your first game back and create some momentum before the conference season takes off"
