Box Score Lewiston, ME - Women's Field Hockey played strong NESCAC school, Bates College on Thursday, September 7th falling 9-0. Two of the Terriers goalkeepers racked up twelve saves in full 60 minutes.
How it Happened:
- After a quick goal made by the bobcats the Terriers were able to keep the rest of the 1st quarter scoreless.
- Junior goalkeeper Brennan Pinto had two crucial saves to keep Terrier momentum up.
- Two quick goals were made before Junior Goalkeeper Elise Syphers stepped in net.
- Syphers was immediately pressed with shots one hitting the board after a rebound off her pads making it 4-0.
- Two more Bobcat goals were scored before the half.
- Sophomore Leah Knight has the Terriers first shot on goal, twenty seconds into the third.
- Syphers made four more strong saves in the 3rd quarter, while Bates added two more to the board.
- Two more saves were made my Syphers before Bates added one more goal to the score in the final minute.

The Terriers will stay at home for the next game, playing Mt. Holyoke College on Saturday, September 9th at 11am.
